Explore some of the deeper questions about the Māori and Pacific soldiers who fought in World War I. Who were they? What communities did they come from? How did they feel about the task ahead of them? What was their place in the British Empire?

Examine the legacy these soldiers have left, the stories of their exploits, and ask what remembrance means for tangata whenua and tangata Pasifika today.
