Students examine the voices of rangatira and the Crown, and how differing interpretations shaped Aotearoa’s political and social landscape. Through taonga and interactive storytelling, learners engage with the themes of sovereignty, translation, and trust. Activities encourage critical thinking about agreements, communication, and representation. Senior students link historical outcomes to modern Treaty principles and issues of partnership and redress.
